Horse Centered Wellness for Heroes is the program itself: a five-session groundwork wellness journey designed for Veterans, First Responders, and their family members. Everything on this site flows from the program's promise: a calm, unhurried space to slow down beside a horse.
WeDoGood
WeDoGood is the registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit that stewards the program, sustaining it through community support, helping keep it free for the heroes it serves, and connecting participants with the resources that make the journey possible.

Summerwood Stables is the host location and equine partner, providing the barn, the covered arena, and the horses at the heart of each session. The program is groundwork only: Summerwood's role here is about care, space, and partnership, not riding.

Each session is guided by a dedicated handler who stays nearby throughout horse interaction, with horse pairing handled by the program team based on safety, comfort, temperament, and the needs of the session.
