As the heart horse of Summerwood's owner, Rollo holds a special place not only in the barn but in the hearts of everyone who meets him.

Over the years, he's called North Carolina, Illinois, and Florida home. Through countless trail rides, adventures, and life changes, he's remained the same dependable, trustworthy partner he's always been.

If there is one thing Rollo excels at besides friendship, it's staying informed. In fact, he considers himself the unofficial director of barn operations. Need to know where the snacks are? Rollo knows. Want an update on who's coming and going? Rollo knows.

One of Rollo's favorite things in the world is meeting new people. Wellness program days are among the highlights of his week because they bring fresh faces, new friendships, and extra opportunities to connect. Whether you're grooming him, sharing a quiet moment, or simply standing beside him, you've likely made his entire day.

At 31 years young, Brownie has perfected the art of making people feel welcome. He is often the first one to greet you when you walk into the barn, whether you've known him for years or you're meeting him for the very first time. A soft nicker, a gentle nuzzle, and before you know it, Brownie has convinced you that you've been friends forever.

There may not be a gentler soul in the barn. Brownie genuinely loves people and isn't shy about showing it. He's known for handing out affection freely, offering nuzzles, kisses, and the kind of quiet companionship that can make even the hardest day feel a little lighter.

With a lifetime of experience behind him, Brownie has seen a lot. From lessons and jumps to countless partnerships with riders, he's built a résumé that would fill an entire tack room. If he could talk, he'd probably spend hours telling stories about all the places he's been, all the people he's taught.

Brownie has a special connection with veterans, first responders, and anyone carrying the weight of life's experiences. He seems to understand that sometimes people don't need advice. Possum is easily the most popular horse at Summerwood. Horses love him. People love him. Visitors remember him. If there were a barn popularity contest, Possum would win by a landslide and then spend the rest of the day accepting compliments and stealing treats.

While many assume a little pony would need someone looking after him, Possum has different ideas. He has built a reputation as the barn's premier babysitter and herd manager. Whether it's a nervous horse, a new horse, or a horse twice his size, Possum is more than happy to step in and explain how things are going to work around here.

Possum is basically Dennis the Menace in pony form.

Possum possesses an almost supernatural ability to locate snacks. If treats exist anywhere within a ten-foot radius, he knows exactly where they are, how to get there, and would be delighted to escort you to them.

What makes Possum special in the wellness program is his ability to bring joy. He reminds people to laugh, not take life quite so seriously, and embrace their authentic selves. His confidence is contagious, and his antics have a way of breaking down barriers and helping people relax.

Cayenne enjoys keeping people on their toes and has a knack for making them smile. Bodhi has one of those faces that can melt your heart before you've even said hello. With his youthful looks, bright eyes, and playful personality, most people are surprised to learn he's 15 years old. In fact, if you told Bodhi he was supposed to act his age, he'd probably laugh and go find something interesting to investigate.

Bodhi genuinely enjoys being around people and wants to participate in whatever is going on. He's the horse equivalent of the friend who hears there is a gathering and says, "Sounds fun, what time should I be there?"

Whether you're grooming him, walking with him, or simply spending time together, Bodhi is fascinated by the interaction. After spending time in Oklahoma and Wisconsin, Misty has settled into life at Summerwood and is thoroughly enjoying her Florida chapter. Sunshine, trails, new friends, and plenty of opportunities to explore have made her feel right at home.

One of Misty's favorite activities is spending time on the trails with her mom. She loves exploring new places, taking in the scenery, and appreciating the journey rather than rushing to the destination. She approaches life with a steady pace and a gentle curiosity that makes people feel comfortable and accepted.

While she may be quieter than some of the bigger personalities in the barn, Misty is incredibly interested in connecting with people. She's the kind of friend who may not say much, but when she's standing beside you, you know she's there. Her presence is calming, reassuring, and genuine.

As one of the younger members of the Summerwood family, Atlas is still discovering who he is, what he's capable of, and all the exciting possibilities the world has to offer. Every day is a new adventure, and he's eager to learn something new from everyone he meets.

Atlas approaches life with an open mind and a big heart. He loves being part of the action and has a genuine interest in both people and experiences. When you're with Atlas, you'll quickly realize that he's not just observing you, he's actively trying to get to know you.

As one of the true OGs of the barn, Titan has spent decades building a reputation for being steady, reliable, and dependable.

Titan believes in order. He believes in structure. And he firmly believes that everyone should know their place.

A lifelong gentleman, Titan carries himself with quiet confidence and dignity. He's not loud about being in charge. He doesn't need to be. A simple look, a gentle pinning of the ears toward another horse, and the message is usually received loud and clear: "Let's maintain some standards around here."

Food should be distributed efficiently. Rules should be followed. And naturally, if snacks are being handed out, the General should probably be first in line. Because that's simply how chain of command works.

Titan has a special connection to Marines, military members, and veterans. His owner is a former Marine, and somewhere along the way Titan seems to have adopted many of the same values: discipline, respect, dependability, and service to others.

While he may expect the other horses to maintain proper barn protocol, people quickly discover a much softer side of Titan. He is respectful, trustworthy, and responsive, the kind of horse who makes people feel safe and supported. His calm presence gives veterans and first responders the confidence to relax, knowing they're in good company.

Titan doesn't need to be the center of attention. He leads by example. The younger horses may have the energy, the antics, and the social media potential, but Titan has something even more valuable: Wisdom.

With his beautiful Andalusian looks and natural elegance, Duncan knows how to make an impression. Whether he's gliding around the ring looking fancy or posing for admiring visitors, he carries himself with the confidence of a horse who knows he's handsome.

But beneath all that sophistication is a horse with surprisingly simple goals in life: spend time with his favorite people, enjoy a nice trail ride, and squeeze in as many naps as possible.

Duncan loves hitting the trails with his owner and exploring the world at a relaxed pace. He's a true gentleman, while enjoying the journey along the way.

When he's not out adventuring, there's a good chance you'll find him doing one of his favorite activities: sleeping. It's not unusual to walk through the barn and find Duncan stretched out in the middle of the day enjoying a quality nap. Unlike some horses, he doesn't mind visitors stopping by while he's lounging. In fact, he's perfectly happy receiving a few scratches and pats while he supervises his nap schedule.

He believes the key to life is friendship, relaxation, and remembering to take a nap when the opportunity presents itself.

And honestly, he may be onto something.

Tequila unpacked her bags, made some friends, and practically said, "I think I'm going to like it here."

As one of Summerwood's newest residents, Tequila has embraced barn life with enthusiasm. Since arriving in September, he's been busy exploring his surroundings, meeting new horses, making new friends, and discovering all the wonderful things Summerwood has to offer.

Being new to the barn hasn't slowed him down. In fact, Tequila seems to have a special talent for making friends quickly. Horses enjoy his company, people are drawn to his sweet nature, and he has become a wonderful addition to the Summerwood community.

What makes Tequila special is his appreciation for new experiences. He reminds us that sometimes the best things in life happen when we're willing to step into unfamiliar surroundings and give something new a chance. His journey from Miami to Summerwood is proof that a change of scenery can lead to new friendships, new opportunities, and meaningful connections.
